Area Vineyards

The Georgia Wine Highway.  Not all wineries can be visited in a single day, but the locations of our vineyards along the route makes it possible to dine and shop for multiple day touring.

Henson Cove is proud to offer wine tastings for 2 at Hightower Creek Vineyards. At Hightower Creek Vineyards they strive to create wines that reflect the people and places of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Each bottle of our wine represents the hard work of family and friends - from the vineyard, to the cellar, to you. Pair with good food and better company. Serve with a smile.

Henson Cove Place Bed and Breakfast also offers wine tastings for 2 at Crane Creek Vineyards. At Crane Creek Vineyards, we like to think that wines made from our grapes are an expression of our unique area. Our twelve acres of vines are planted in a variety of grapes, including the European varieties of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. We also grow the old world French American hybrid varieties of Chambourcin, Vidal Blanc, Seyval Blanc and Villard Noir along with the modern hybrid Chardonel. The native American varieties Norton and Catawba round out our unique varietal collection.
