Henson Cove Place B&B with Cabin
A tastefully decorated, unique rustic farmhouse-style Georgia Mountain Bed and Breakfast. The inn is reminiscent of more laid back days, featuring stunning pasture and mountain views, porch swings and rockers. Accommodations include three comfortably furnished rooms, each with a private bath. 

Located just 1/2 mile off US 76, in Hiawassee, Georgia. Hiawassee is a North Georgia Mountain community that still has that small town feel. Located just minutes from Helen GA, Clayton, GA, NC, SC and TN and just 15 minutes from Georgia's highest point - Brasstown Bald (4,784 feet).

Henson Cove Place B&B is convenient to many great attractions in  Hiawassee such as the the North Georgia Mountain Fair Grounds (just 5 minutes away), the Appalachian Trail for hiking and beautiful Lake Chatuge for boating, swimming, fishing and other water sports. Henson Cove Place B&B is part of the Southern Highroads Trail and also The Georgia Wine Highway. Whitewater rafting and tubing trips on the Chattahoochee, Nantahala and Ocoee Rivers are very popular and a short distance away.


Owners, Mariah & Dave Nugent, treat guests like family providing the utmost in comfortable lodging, bedding, excellent food, and a beautiful setting to unwind and refresh their bodies and souls. They serve a full gourmet breakfast every morning cooked on a 1929 Tappan gas stove along with a daily snack and complimentary beverages. Occasionally on Saturday we serve an early evening hor'douvre happy/guest hour. The property (is boarded by two bubbling creeks) and boasts 1.6 acres, a beautiful garden with a variety of seasonal flowers and the largest white pine tree in north Georgia (over 110 years old). Also on the property is the original house foundation built in 1901 (complete with well still intact).

North Georgia Cabins, Georgia mountain Cabins, Hiawassee Cabins
A quaint cabin in the north Georgia mountains away from the B&B that can sleep up to 6 people. It is a fully self-sufficient 3 bedroom, 1.5 baths. Also features a picnic table, hammock and grill to complete a relaxing stay. AT hikers are always welcome. A full breakfast (at the B&B) can be added for just $8.00 per person and as always, cabin guests are invited to enjoy our occasional Saturday happy hour. The Cove Cabin is small pet and child friendly!
