This was mine and Doug's first experience in a B&B and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Great food, Great comfort, and Great company! The view is spectacular also. I can honestly state that this was our best stay at a bed and breakfast. Henson Cove Place is so homey and peaceful. You have been the most excellent hosts... Superb breakfasts! Deb and I had a great time hanging out with you guys burning your forest down with the bon fire . Next time we'll bring the girls and rent out the cabin. Thanks again for your hospitality!

Beccie & I got away on Thursday for our 21^st Anniversary to a B&B near Hiawasee, GA. Henson Cove Place is a well-situated, but simple little house at the head of a ‘holler’ with a view overlooking a small field. The house has 3 or 4 different floor levels – all on one floor! You known, the room-to-room transitions that trip you up or make you look drunk the first time you walk through. The hostess, Mariah cooks on an old 20’s-something gas range. One bedroom has its own sitting room and bath – a suite. Another, up front, has the best view and largest bed, with its claw-foot tub bath across the hall. That was ours, of course. The third is upstairs with its own entrance at the back. Well, it’s amazing what can be done with a humble structure. It was all very neat and cozy. Much, much more could be said about the details of Mariah & David’s B&B. Suffice it so say that we recommend it. For some reason Beccie couldn’t sleep (no comments, please), so we read in the living room with the gas log stove turned up for heat until 1AM. I thought it was fun.
